Amin Djamaluddin as the Honorary Royal Guest for Saudi Arabia

The progress of preaching by Amin Djamaluddin garnered some interests from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The immense positive impact had made Amin Djamaluddin and several other Indonesia Islamic premiers the Kingdom's guests of honor in 2008. Among these honorable guests are Cholil Ridwan (Chairman of MUI), Yinahas Ilyas (Chairman of Muhammadiyah), Ali Mustafa Ya'kub (Imam of Istiqlal Mosque) and Abdul Wahid Alwi (Vice Chairman of DDII) as well as several others. The aforementioned honorable guests were received personally by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Minister of Religious Affairs, Soleh Bin Abdul Aziz Aalu Syeikh along with his staff.

Founded in 1989, the boarding school provides elementary and secondary level education to children who live in high degree of poverty, crime rate and population density. With the purpose of building a nurturing environment, which is designed to fulfill the need to uphold a higher standard of morality and cognitive ability, our research has shown that Al Qalam Islamic Boarding School imparts positive impacts towards building a community with a higher standard in virtuousness and education.

The boarding school aims to undertake education challenges and moral adversities while keeping the cost affordable to low income families and orphaned children.

Inclusive Education

Statistics has shown that the District of Langgudu located in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia has the third largest population below the poverty line in the province. It also ranks the lowest in the Human Development Index (HDI) while it struggles with the lack of man power to spread the teaching of Islam. As our response to this critical issue, we have been successfully providing education to thousands of youths who are in their crucial development age of 12 to 15 years old by facilitating and sponsoring Education Programs at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Secondary School) level since 2007 at no cost to the students. Alumni of Al Qalam Bima are encouraged and motivated to contribute to providing solutions towards the challenges in their community.

The Al-Qalam Zakat Amil Institution is an organization that collects, manages, and distributes funds for zakat (alms), infaq (charitable giving), and shadaqah (voluntary charity). Here are the programs we organize:

Orphan and Destitute Scholarships: This program aims to help reduce educational inequality by providing scholarships to orphans and those in need.
Cadre Development for 3T Areas (Underdeveloped, Remote, and Outermost Regions): We take the initiative to send the best prospective students from remote areas to be educated in reputable schools in Jakarta and Depok. After granting them scholarships to complete their highest education, we hope these students can improve the quality of education in their regions.
Renovation of Mosques in 3T Areas (Underdeveloped, Remote, and Outermost Regions)
